There’s just one little problem: you’re not sure if you want to get a portable roller rink or a portable ice rink for your upcoming soiree. Both sound pretty great, so how do you choose? Portable Roller Rinks

The portable roller rinks from All Year Sports Galaxy come in several sizes and shapes to accommodate any type of event. You and your guests will feel like you’re throwing it back to the 70s or 80s with the simplicity and fun of these retro rinks!

To get your roller rink size just right, we do a headcount and then recommend a corresponding size. If, for instance, you had 20 guests who’d be on the rink, we’d suggest a 20’x30’ rink. If you had 50, we’d push for a 40’x40’ rink, and if you were having a big party with 90 guests, we’d offer our biggest rink, which is 40’x80’!

No matter the size you choose, we have rink skating sessions that last up to five hours. Operators will be on-hand to ensure safety and fun. They will also take care of delivering and putting together the rink. You’ll enjoy special effects and a disco ball (for that true retro feel), DJ lights, a PA system for playing tunes, benches, a changing area, and rink fencing. You can even select the type of skates, such as derby, inline, or both!

Portable Ice Rinks

Then there are our portable ice rinks. These are what put All Year Sports Galaxy on the map. These synthetic rinks are also available in various sizes and shapes. The smallest rink for eight skaters is 16’x16’. If you’re having a rather large event with 50 people, the corresponding ice rink size should be 40’x40’. If 200 people are on your guest list, then you should look into our biggest portable ice rink, which is 80’x80’.

It takes about three hours for our All Year Sports Galaxy team to assemble the portable ice rink. We will add holiday decorations as appropriate to really liven up the event. You also get the same perks as you would with a portable roller rink, such as DJ lights, a PA system, a changing area, and rink fencing.

Making the Choice

Now comes the hard part, choosing between a roller rink and a synthetic ice rink. Our roller rinks can be assembled outside, so if your party is in warmer weather, you might want one of those. Of course, since our name is All Year Sports Galaxy, we can and have assembled ice rinks for clients all year long, too (just not outside).
