Its all began with ice hockey! All Year Sports Galaxy Founder, Olympian Vadim Slivchenko, founded the company in 2007, shortly after retiring from playing professional ice hockey.
Vadim—nicknamed the “Russian Rocket” by the press—has played hockey in Europe and the United States. In 2002, Vadim competed on the Ukrainian national team in the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also played for Ukraine in two World Championships.
Vadim holds a Master of Sports Degree from Ukrainian Sport Committee and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education with concentration in coaching hockey and soccer. His passion for sports and his work ethic inspire many young hockey players to push themselves to fulfill their potential.
